Rin "Reaper" Tachibana

Appearance: Rin has snow white hair, and crimson eyes. He is about 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds, most of which is muscle. He is generally seen in a tan trench coat with a skull on the back. The skull’s eyes glow a faint gold when Rin’s Aura is used. When in battle, he wields a large, long-bladed Scythe and has two Desert Eagles strapped to his waist. Underneath the trench coat, which is rarely ever buttoned, he wears a bright red t-shirt, black pants, and tan, steel-toe military boots. He wears black fingerless gloves with onyx imbedded in the palms. His aura is black in color, and according to him it marks him as the bringer of death, despite his personality.

History: Rin was raised within the Candlelit Hollows. He was born with a rare case of MPD that only revealed itself when he accidentally cut himself. Due to this, he was raised as carefully as possible, which eventually led to him getting in a rather large fight with his parents. Once it was discovered that his aura was black in color, he was both feared and respected by those who saw him. Add to the fact that it was at this point that he had shown interest in becoming a Hunter, and had began constructing Scythes out of sticks he found within the forest near his house. When he was old enough to attend Signal, he once again tried to convince his parents, finding that they were a lot easier to convince when he explained that he wanted to be a Hunter. They reluctantly agreed, and in the following years he began to show impressive skill with both Scythes, and high-caliber pistols. When he was able to construct his weapons, he created Death’s Retriever, as well as Rot and Decay. Soon afterwards, he began to restrict his Aura usage as he discovered that most of his proficiency came from usage of his Aura. Thus he trained ever harder to enhance his abilities, upgrading his abilities until he denied himself use of his Aura. Despite this he continued to grow stronger, and by the time he was 14 he could could wield Death’s Retriever at speeds some would consider god-like, the weapon becoming rather hard to spot while he was completely restricting himself. On the few instances his will has broken, Rin has demonstrated complete mastery over his weapons, often easily defeating more experienced foes. It is rumored that he could easily be a third or fourth year if he actually put forth any effort.

Personality:
Normal: Rin has a laid-back personality, although he can be serious when it counts. He has a sort of “No-Kill” rule that those who haven’t seen him around blood wouldn’t understand. He is also rather caring, but can be a bit off-the-wall and random as well. He respects people not based on status, but on personality. Some see him as being crazy, although he normally just smirks and brushes it off.

Manic State: Whenever Rin comes into contact with blood, his personality takes a complete turn around, and he loses all sense of morality. He becomes rather bloodthirsty, and it is this thirst that causes him to attack far faster than he normally does. He becomes rather masochistic in this state, and will begin to laugh maniacally whenever he is injured, often stating that it ‘tickles’.
He also loses most of his Aura control, reducing him to only being able to use his Semblance. Due to this loss of control, his Aura manifests as a set of Demonic Wings. His Manic State also has a small chance to shatter one of Depression’s gems, boosting Rin’s abilities further.

-Can deal massive amounts of damage in short amounts of time

Weaknesses:
-Refuses to kill non-Grimm
-Will attack both friend and foe while in Manic State.
-Tends to over-limit himself with Depression
-Semblance can be rather easily dodged or canceled
-Scythe is rather large, and can’t fit through most doorways.
-Glass Cannon

Semblance: Death’s Glare: Rin injects his aura into the ground, immobilizing all hostile persons within a 10 foot radius. The immobilzation lasts for up to 7 seconds, and is immediately canceled when Rin takes or deals damage. This ability costs a moderate amount of Aura, and has a one minute thirty cooldown.

Weapon 1:
Name: Death’s Retriever
Primary Form:  Death’s Retriever takes the form of a massive Scythe, being over 8 feet in length, with a blade size of 6’ 7” in total length. The blade is an enveloping black, while the handle is a dark crimson. Should Rin spin this weapon while he isn't mentally restricting himself, it would become nearly untraceable to the human eye.
History: Crafted during Rin’s years at Signal, along with Rot and Decay, this weapon has shown to be his favorite, with obvious reasons.

Weapon 2:
Name: Rot and Decay
Primary Form: A pair of black and white Desert Eagles, Rot and Decay fire .50 caliber ammo, and are Rin’s only ranged weapons.
History: Crafted while Rin was attending Signal, Rot and Decay are the only pistols he will willingly use.

Misc Information:
-If Rin is not in his Manic State, and he loses control of his Aura, it manifests as a pair of Angelic Wings instead.
-His parent’s names are Bephel and Asmay
-He has four Onyx Gems imbedded in his gauntlets, although they have lost whatever power they had.

Please edit semblance to and weapons on these points

One you can not take others aura its there soul you cant take a soul.

two depression is not a thing you can not have limiters.

three you cant drain life force that's not a thing.

four you can only have on form of semblance so the two above things dont work even more.

Five 50 cal pistols would break your arms.
