- Hair Length/ Style: Gideon’s hair goes down to about the middle of his neck on the side, he cuts in to stay out of his eyes, but in the back it goes down to his shoulders. A few untidy locks have been known to drift in front of his eyes from time to time.
- Eye Colour: Bright Hazel.
- Description: Gideon has a runner’s build, with thin shoulders with wiry, well defined muscles and handsome features, his jaw line is usually coated in a thin layer of stubble. His arms and chest are covered in scars of various sizes. Gideon has a tribal tattoo from the middle of his neck to his wrist on his right arm, it is black with and red and white accents.

- Attire: Gideon wears a long black jacket, so dark it practically gleams; it has white tally marks on the sleeves, the lining is blood red.  He wears OD green pants. His old leather boots are scuffed and scratched, but in no worse condition than the rest of his clothes. Truth and Reconciliation are usually on his back in a sheath over his coat, with Blaze and Bolt in twin holsters at his hips. Gideon has two gauntlets; each one is made out of specially reinforced steel, allowing him to use slightly less protective measures when activating Continuum Rend or Singularity point. A piece of black plate armor is on his left shoulder. The plate armor is engraved with black and gold tribal designs, the edges have crimson accents.


History: Gideon was raised in a rich suburban part of Vale, his parents, on the outside at least, were loving and caring individuals. Those who never delved to deep into the goings on in the Sangyama household would see it as ‘average’ or would say to you, ‘they’re nice’. However Gideon would beg to differ. They were a family that had been torn apart by the Grimm. And they decided they’re son would exact the revenge that they never could.  So from the time he could walk and hold a weapon they were training him themselves, revolvers and Curveblades, as were the weapons of his forefathers, they would be his own weapons. There was a point during his training when his father hit him a little too hard, and it awoke his Aura. At first it seemed as though it wasn’t actually Gideon’s Aura activating, however it was soon realized that his Aura was invisible. By the time he was twelve he was as good as his father, a master of the art,  in Curveblade combat. At eleven he was told it was time for him to attend Signal Academy. It was there that he forged his signature weapons, Truth and Reconciliation. This was not only where his combat abilities were honed even further, but it was where Gideon’s true Auratic power was revealed, and his Semblance was shown. Gideon’s power over Gravity was incredible, especially for one so young. By the time he was 14 he was able to take on far more experienced opponents. Before coming to Beacon, Gideon opted to focus less on his Aura, and put more of his time into honing his skills in traditional combat. It was stated during his audition that Gideon’s physical combat skills are incredible, and his Auratic power is far beyond average, however his viscous and sadistic nature is a problem he must overcome if he ever hopes to be a true Hunter. Gideon will sell his killing ability to anyone who can pay for it.
Personality:  Driven primarily by hatred and revenge, Gideon comes off as dark and brooding, completely uncaring about the world around him, so long as he and his team get to kill Grimm, he really doesn't care. Gideon has a highly sadistic personality, he loves inflicting pain upon anything he can get his hands on, however over the years he has learned to reign it in. Gideon's psychopathy makes it difficult to actually relate to people on an emotional level, however he has the natural charm and guile that comes along with that nature.

Strengths:
- Incredible combat prowess.
- Master Curveblade fighter.
- Expert in pistol combat, specifically with revolvers.
- His sadism means that his use as a weapon of psychological warfare has few equals, he is often hired more to send a message than execute a clean kill.
- Expert on the human body and its weak points.
- Immense power granted to him by his Semblance.
-Very agile.
- Guile.
Weaknesses:
- Gideon has practiced his mastery of Curveblades and revolvers to the exclusion of almost everything else. Hand him a scythe, sub machine gun, or sword, and he only has a very vague notion of how to use them.
- His sadism can be a hindrance at times, distracting him from the task at hand.
- Any attacks beyond the most very basic take a long time to charge when using his Semblance.
- Can’t take very many good hits.


Semblance: Gideon’s Semblance is called Singularity, when activated Gideon gains the ability to control the force of gravity. When activated Gideon becomes surrounded by a small event horizon, capable of blocking low level attacks. The effect also begins to warp and twist the light around him, thus making it appear that he is standing in a heat haze. One of the downsides to using Singularity is that even remotely experienced Aura users feel a slight tug in his direction, as well as immensely long charging times for any of his attacks besides the basic pull/repel of gravity. Each attack however, is governed by a universal cooldown time of seven minutes. (Detailed below)

Singularity Point: Gideon’s signature move, Gideon will focus on a single point and, utilizing his control over gravity, create a tiny point of incredibly high density, which deals devastating damage to anything that comes within its small radius. While the move is undeniably powerful, it takes a long time to prepare, not only the actual move, but the time it takes to create a barrier of gravity between his hand and the Point. Though it takes significant time to prepare, once the ability is activated, even for the short time it is possible to keep active, it has almost unrivaled destructive potential.
Continuum Rend: By sacrificing the defensive capabilities of the Event Horizon that surrounds him, the Continuum Rend is theoretically able to clash with something like a high caliber sniper rifle. It takes an immense amount of time to divert the Event Horizon covering Gideon's body, to wrap around one of the gauntlets. When complete, the Continuum Rend is a rippling cover of darkness that shrouds the chosen gauntlet, letting nothing escape its grasp, making it as dangerous to the user as it is to the enemy. Once prepared, it can only be stopped by the creator, either by running out of energy and being unable to sustain the Auratic energy required, or when the accumulated density becomes too great to wield.

WEAPON 1

Name: Truth and Reconciliation
(Basically two Energy Swords but a bit more curved down by the hilt and one blade is black, the other is a turquoise-green. )
First Form: Truth and Reconciliation are a pair of razor sharp double-edged swords called curveblades, they are his primary weapons, and so far he is the only person observed to wield them. Each blade serves as a conduit for Gideon’s semblance, basically as an extension of his hand in most cases. If he is dual wielding he will create the Singularity Point at the end of one of his swords, rather than an open palm. Truth is able to withstand far more punishment than Reconciliation, however Reconciliation is infused with lightning dust, however the handle is made of Promethium, a metal which is 100% non-conductive. However is the lightning aspect is active for too long the handle would heat up drastically, rendering the weapon unusable.
Second Form: The handles merge together to make the twin curveblades into a 7' battlestaff.

WEAPON 2

Names: Blaze and Bolt.

First Form:  Blaze and Bolt are long-barreled 45. Long Colt revolvers, Blaze has red and orange flame designs on the tip of the barrel, around the front end of the chamber, and on the overlarge front and rear sights. Bolt has the same markings but in blue and white. Blaze’s primary color is black, while bolt is chrome. Blaze’s bullets are infused with fire Dust, and will ignite any flammable objects the touch, the amount of surface area they can conflagrate is roughly 1.8 Meters. The bullets which Bolt uses are infused with lightning dust, people who have been around when Bolt is fired state that they heard two distinct cracks; this is due to the pent up Lightning being released on impact with a hard surface. The lightning bullets power is roughly one quarter that of an actual lightning strike.      

Second Form:  Blaze and Bolt can both come together and form a double-barreled rifle type weapon, Blaze’s sights shift to the middle, and Bolt’s hand grip joins with Blaze’s to make a stock. Gideon can fire both rounds at the same time or one barrel at a time. Both cylinders remain in roughly the same place, one on each side.
