Starshine glared for a second before sighing "First off don't call me Shine,secondly I'm actually in a pretty good mood right now thanks for asking, thirdly I'll take a salad, kale if you have it" Starshine then took a moment to answer Marais "And yes he's a friend of mine. Marais meet Pete, Pete, Marais"

Jett sighed "I do believe it's your job to take or orders not give out snarky comments.... Anyway two orders of fries with leamon"

Pete nodded and wrote down the order "Nice to meet you, Marais, anyways, what's your order?" "Uh.... Good question..... Fries with lemon, not too crunchy?" "We have similar tastes in our fries, huh? Okay, your food'll be ready in a few minutes!" he said before walking away...

"I'm in a bad mood right now thanks to Ms. Amant's brother... Your brother's a prick, by the way." "What is it with you two? I don't get it...." "He's a pervert and a liar." "Yeah, he is sometimes, now get our order to the chefs!" "Whatever..." Joey said before walking away, Meli looked at Jett apologetically "Sorry about that.... I don't get it, he's usually such a nice guy until Mora's involved..."

Starshine cleared his throat before speaking "So anyway, I believe we where talking about you"

Jett sighed "Yeah well I remember him threatening me at some point" Jett then chuckled a little

"Oh... Uh... Right... Uh... Can we... Talk about something else though?..." Marais said with a blush...

Meli looked at the two with a smile "Mission has definitely been accomplished..."

Starshine put his elbow n the table and leaned forward slightly "I mean we could, but I would rather hear a little about you since we spent so much time on me

Jett shrugged "Normally yes, but he won't make a move so it may not happen"

Marais shrugged, still blushing "Th-there's not much else to know about me... I'm a pretty "What you see is what you get" kind of girl..."

Starshine chuckled a little as he leaned back in his chair "You know, you're pretty cute when you're all flustered"

Marais' blush grew stronger "I-Uh-I'm not flustered, I'm just... Uh..." suddenly Pete came onto the scene with their orders "Food's here, enjoy your meal!" he said happily before placing the plates onto the table and standing there for a second "Uh... Thanks... You can go now..." Pete looked honestly hurt by this "No tip?... Okay then... THat's fine..." he said sadly "Uh-no! I'll give you your tip, here." she said quickly as she gave Pete a few Lien cards, Pete smiled and bowed "Thank you for coming." he said before leaving, counting the Lien in his hand "......Does he usually pull that kind of stuff?... Making people feel bad?...."

Starshine shrugged "Well he is generally pitiable but this is the first time that I've seen him do it in a professional setting"

""Pitiable" Why? I'm curious now." she said curiously...

Starshine thought for a moment "Well despite his strength he's always being picked on, especially by people on his team, and he has a serious inferiority complex"

Marais sighed "That must suck...." she said sympathetically "Welp, time to eat, I guess." she said with a smile before starting to eat...

Starshine shrugged "I suppose so" he said beginning to eat his meal as well

Jett glanced over and noticed the two eating in total silence "Meli I do believe your intervention will be required, otherwise they're just going to eat silently and part ways"

Meli nodded "Yeah, gonna have to... Do something... Idea!" she said happily before getting up and walking over to her targets "Oh my gosh! Shiny, it's so ncie to see you here! What a coincidence, right? And before you say I'm stalking you, I'm on a date with your brother, so... Don't believe me, he's over there!" she said quickly, pointing to Jett as she stopped speaking "D-... Did you even take a beat to breathe there?..." "I... Don't know why that would need remembering..."

Starshine gave Meli a "Bitch please" look before speaking "Firstly when you lie you need to make it sound natural not rushed and or rehearsed secondly what do you want?"

Meli's smile didn't falter "I just wanted to say hi!... And that you two look so cute together, you couldn't fool me back there, I'm too smart when it comes to love to be fooled!" she said proudly and, once again, extremely fast, Marais just looked at her in confusion, then to Shine with a silent look of "What?..."

Starshine sighed as he stood up and grabbed Meli's shoulder, and quickly walked out of ear shot of Marais "I told you there isn't any romance going on" he said slightly aggravated by her sudden intrusion

Meli smirked "Suuuure, there isn't... I can tell a crushing boy from a mile away, even if he can't tell it himself!" she said proudly...

Starshine blushed but kept scowling at her none the less "I'm not crushing... I just think she's a pretty cool and blessedly normal person is all"

Meli shook her head "That blush says otherwiiiiise!" she said in a sing-song fashion...

Starshine grimaced, still blushing "I'm not blushing, it's just that I'm from a cold climate and it's warm in here" he took a moment to regain his composure "Anyway I have no idea what observations you've based this of of, but you're compleatly off base"

Meli shook her head again "Nooope, I know the difference between a blush from the heat and a blush from a crush!" she said happily...

Starshine sighed "Okay whatever, anyway assuming I did have a crush on Marais, which I don't, what where you hoping to acomplish here?"

"Annoy you into confessing." she said bluntly...

Marais just sat their, eating and absent-mindedly thinking "I knew she was crazy, but... Damn... I mean, I do find him attractive, kinda... And nice... Kinda... and, like, would totally give him a chance if he asked me out....... What the hell am I thinking?"

Starshine blushed a little "You should know tat annoying me doesn't work, plus I.... wouldn't really know hoe" he said awkwardly with a blush
