Sierra laughed slightly "It wasn't very hard, all I had to do was threaten to shoot him in the kneecap, not even anything vital! City folk are such pushovers!" she said with amusement "So, what is your story, huh?"

At Sierras questions the edges of Jett's mouth picked up int a grin and his eyes took a almost maniacal glint "ahh that" he said in a voice steeped in nostalgia " well about three years ago I left home and started traveling to further hone my skills and eventually I ran out of the money I had stockpiled and started doing mercenary work. That bit lasted a long time if because it paid well and it got me combat experience but that's not important what is important is that the last job I did I fought a really strong sword user around my age which was rare then after I killed him i found papers saying he was a student here and decided to apply" after a moment of silence "like I said no big deal"

Sierra looked at him with respect "...How was my story better than yours?... All I did was threaten to shoot a guy if he didn't give me a way into Beacon... Although, to be fair, if he didn't give them to me, I would have Saved up for a fishing hook, catch a bunch of squids, steal some gasoline, set fire to the squids and throw them at Ozpin until he let me into Beacon... So... Yeah..." she said without realizing how crazy that sounded...

"Because my best friend, City-Err, Sarah was coming, I called her City when we met and it sorta stuck, thing is, I didn't know what a city was back then, so when I was told she was from the big city, I thought her NAME was "Big City"... So that's why I call her "City"... And she's why I'm here..." she said, getting increasingly awkward as the sentence went on...

Unable to properly express himself through words Jett like a dunce reaches out his hand places it on sierras head and pats her a couple of times in a attempt to cheer her up. then while he retracts his hand gives her tiny head a small jostle left and right.

Jett half flinched as when sierra spoke fully expecting for a rain of verbal/physical abuse. but after seeing her reaction Jett let out a small breath of relief "uhh... you're welcome I guess" he said while flopping himself down on his bed.

While Jett was pondering what he should do he heard a very concerning cracking sound coming from his bed "Oh shi...!" right then hid bed decided to break on one side sending him rolling onto the floor "Not again" He groaned.

Jett tried his best not to laugh causing his giant frame to shake slightly "PFFT" and that was all it took to break his self control and cause him to burst out laughing for a good thirty seconds "ahh sorry but i just wasn't expecting that" He said while gently sitting down on his bed.
