A Miscomunication (Closed) (Year Two)

It was a clear Saturday late morning, a certain errand girl had just finished her chores around her house "Peta... I-It's all done!..." she said happily "Thanks, Pauline, you're a big help!" her housemate and boss, Peter, yelled from the lounge room "I-Is it okay for me t-to go out?..." "'f course! Go ahead!" Pauline nodded despite Pete not being able to see her before taking her scroll from a nearby counter and dialed a friend named Droth...

Droth answered his phone with a half grin "Droth here what do you need?"

"I-It's Paula... I-I wa-wanted to askkk if you w-wanted to... H-hang out today?..."

Pauline paused for a small second "Uh... I-I'm not... Sure... U-Uh... P-Peta a-and his f-friends go to a place called the sh-shooting st-star... I-I heard th-that's a n-n-nice place... I've g-gone past it a-alot, so I know the way..."

Droth sighed as he looked at Maris "Hey where would you and star go to hang out?"

"Either the Shooting Star Bar or... I guess there's a new place that's opened, it's called the Briar Patch Karaoke bar, it's some family owned place from Lumiere me and my friends used to go to that became a big chain like the Shooting Star... They've apparently got a massive rivalry with eachother, which I can understand, y'know, they're competition, so... Yeah... You and that squirrel chick going on a date today?"

Droth smiled just a tad "Puala meet me at brair patch karaoke bar got to go!"Droth quickly hung up and looked at maris "It is not a date she is my friend....

Pauline nodded to herself "O-Okay... I'll be there..."

Marais shrugged "It's clear you're into eachother..."

Pauline quickly realized "I... I-I don't know the way..." she sighed...

Droth simply looked down in a blush "No i im not......what give you that idea."

"Do I really need to explain it? It's completely, one hundred percent obvious, the Shiplord'd be all over you if she noticed you two..."

Droth blushed even more "I haven't the foggiest idea of what you are talking about."

"The Shiplord... You know, that dove faunus girl wit the broken wing who stalks the campus and sets people up at random? And totally isn't famous popstar, Meli Amant, but you didn't hear that from me."

Droth glared at the girl "Why would she matter me and paula do not like each other that way....."

Marais shrugged "You realize she doesn't care about that, right?..." she smirked...

All of a sudden Droth's scroll rang again...

Droth quickly answered "Droth here what do you need?"

"Wh-where's th-the B-B-Briar Patch Bar?..."

Droth face palmed "It's across from the shooting star?"

"No it's not, it's a few blocks over..."

"A-Are you sssure? I-I've n-never seen it...

"O-Okay... I-I'll s-ssee you there..." she said before hanging up...

"Have fun on your date, Droth, maybe you'll get laid, good luck with that!"

Droth turned a solid red "W-we are not going to have sex and its not a date!"

Marais shrugged "Yeah, you're probably right, team CHMP would murder you if you did... Hey, how old is she even? Like, she looks around our age, probably younger, but... Does she even know her exact age?..."

Droth looked down and away sadly "I don't know......I would guess seventeen or eighteen......"

Marais raised ber eyebrow at her teammate's sad look "What's with that mopey look?"
